Connecting Preclinical and Clinical Evidence
Into One Development Pathway
KGAH-ONE is strengthening a coordination model that connects preclinical evaluation, target-animal and clinical evidence, and market pathways according to the development decision that needs to be made next.
EVIDENCE COORDINATION UPDATE
Do not treat each study as an isolated step.
Start with the evidence needed for the next decision.
Animal Health development rarely advances on the basis of a single study alone. The evidence needed changes by stage—from candidate selection, mechanism and nonclinical disease models to target-animal evaluation, practice-based clinical evidence, and eventually market-entry and partnering decisions.
KGAH-ONE begins by clarifying the Development Question and defining what must be resolved before the program can move forward. We then organize the capabilities and evidence needed for that decision and connect the project with appropriate specialized organizations.
Our role is to clarify the development question, define the evidence pathway and sequence the right specialized capabilities around the decision that needs to be made.
KGAH-ONE is continuing to build relationships with research institutions, nonclinical CROs, clinical research organizations, Animal Health companies and technology developers in Japan and internationally. Our aim is to create practical, project-specific pathways that can connect preclinical evidence to clinical evidence and onward to market development when appropriate.
This update describes KGAH-ONE’s evidence-coordination approach and is not an announcement of a specific corporate partnership.
